An old Hindu astrological book called the Bhrigu Samhita is said to include information on millions of lives as well as horoscopes made especially for the time of consultation. The original Bhrigu, a Vedic sage, is mentioned in the Mahabharata. Since the Bhrigus were a highly esteemed race, it is hard to identify the author of the Bhrigu-Samhita. However, legend has it that ten thousand years ago, the author lived and had a heavenly vision of every person who would ever be born, in every country on earth. This knowledge was compiled by him into his well-known astrological book, which was originally handwritten on palm leaves. There is no known complete text, however there are rumors that significant sections may exist in India.
